The classic long, thin loaf of French bread distinguishable by its length and crisp crust. Considered one of the symbols of French culture, baguettes, either relatively short single-serving size or cut from a longer loaf, are very often used for sandwiches, usually of the submarine sandwich type.
Baguettes are available in lengths of 55cm and 70cm.
The Half-Baguette is 25 cm long.
